Wow, I love that color. I'm so happy that these scooter manufactures are sticking with the classic style scooters. I've seen some scooters that look like street bikes, it's ridiculous!

Thanks Ryan, very helpful. Also, I lost my manual a little while back and I wanted to know if there was a website where you can lookup a manual for free? Thanks again.

Well the Ruckus doesn't actually have any brake fluid. Both of the brakes are mechanical, meaning that they use cables instead of hydraulic fluid. The blue fluid that you are seeing in that reservoir above the radiator is the coolant. You should probably change that once a season though!
Thanks for the question,
Ryan

Hey Ryan, Thanks for the info on how to change the oil. I don't have a manual, so how do you change the blue fluid? what is the blue fluid? Brake fluid? Would you mind pointing me in the right direction on this? Thanks again.

Jeff - Yes you should change it at least once a year then. Just like a car your scooter needs to have the oil changed regularly, even if you are not putting a ton of miles on it. This will help keep all your seals from breaking down and deposits from forming in the engine.

You mentioned that you like to change the oil every 800-1000 miles. I simply don't ride mine all that often. I have had it for a year and have put only 400 miles on it maybe. Is there any problem letting it go 2 or 3 years on the same batch?
